Every relationship can be divided in to three stages; these are the common stages in our relationship with all the people, whom we choose. By choose, I mean the people whom we select to be with us, for example, spouse, friends, girlfriend or boyfriend. If you can identify the stage of your relationship and act accordingly. Then you will find yourself successful in every relationship.
Charm:
The first stage in all relationships is charm, you see their attractiveness, you see their qualities, and they appeal to you. You like them because you are not yet aware of their weaknesses. This is one of the easiest phases. You can easily love them because you are not aware of their personality completely, and they can love your for the same reason. Your decision to love them merely depends on the fact that you have just seen their qualities. This phase lasts from 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on the FREQUENCY of your communication. Frequency means the number of times you communicate in a week or in a day with them.
Flaws:
After the “CHARM” stage is over, the next stage is of flaws. You begin to see their weaknesses. This is a very weak phase in any relationship. It may even prove fatal for your relationship, if your communication is not good. You will have to accept the fact that no one on earth is perfect and you will have to forgive mistakes, and ignore trivial arguments. This stage comes after a month or two. In this phase, you will have fights and altercations, but once you have gone through this phase you will have a very strong relationship.
Love:
After the CHARM and the FLAWS phases comes the love. This is the last stage of a relationship, or you can say that it is the most advanced level. Once you make up to this level, there will be no turning back. With each day passing, your relationship will grow stronger and will improve for the better. This is the most beautiful stage. It might come after 6 or 8 months. But once you are on the LOVE stage, no weaknesses, no flaws will matter to you.
Of course, to easily slide through all these phases of relationship you need to have good communication, and trust. You will have to make them trust you and then they will love you themselves.
